TAYLOR CHOOSES REGENTS - press release from Rockford College

ROCKFORD, IL – With his parents, Joseph and Ramona Taylor, and sister, Emily, looking on, Ozarks High School senior Jason Taylor signed a letter of commitment to attend Rockford College as part of the Regents Soccer Class of 2012. Joining the Taylors at the event were Rockford soccer head coach Wicky Green and assistant Matt Whatley, and Rockford athletics director Randy Schrader.
Taylor, a 5’10” goalie, allowed 39 goals during the 2007 season, while leading the Tigers to a 16-8 record. The keeper also plays for the Springfield Demize, a Premiere Development League (PDL) franchise of the United Soccer Leagues.
“Jason is a great kid, who will be an incredible part of the Rockford College community,” said Coach Green. “He will be an asset to our program both on the field and in the classroom. We hope that Jason can be a cornerstone for the future of Rockford College men’s soccer.”
